Works great in conjunction with aebutton plus(to bind the program to a key)

Let's see how we can extend the battery life with this instead of auto levelling due to the sensor.

Would be nice if you also could add a commandline option to toggle downwards through the different levels(for second key binding)

great utility!

unfortunatly the commandline option "-n3" isn't working on my xda orbit (similar to htc artemis) because "3 bars is >50%".
My Device has only 4 steps in display light. Unfortunately the 3 bars setting is my favourite :(

Hhmmm...maybe I can consider adding support for a command line to fully customise all 3 or 4 backlight levels in future, e.g. "-c1357". Thanks for letting me know the software is supported on your device and for highlighting the limited number of backlight levels.

Works great on the Touch HD running WM6.5. Thanks very much.

Thank you so much for this! I've coupled it with KeySwop to map my right soft-key on my 'home' screen to change the backlight level(s) on my Touch Pro2 (running WM 6.1 still).

Works perfectly... -- even under TouchFLO 3D...(!?!) -- and has saved me the grief (and excess) of a dedicated button manager (...so a small thank-you will soon be on its way to you).

@Peter: agreed! (And my partner's happy, too...!)

Kind regards...
