Description: PlaylistMgr is a simple playlist editor for managing Windows Media Player playlists and it supports unicode. It also supports M3U/PLS playlist files as well as playlists for HTC Audio Manager. You can create or edit playlists easily and conveniently using this software. In addition, PlaylistMgr also helps you to manage your media streams and podcasts.

Installation Notes
  1. Download the CAB file and transfer it to your device. Do not open the CAB file as if it is a ZIP file.
  2. On your device, launch your file explorer and locate the CAB file.
  3. Tap on the CAB file to start installation.
Usage Notes
  1. You can create a new playlist or open a ASX/M3U/PLS playlist for editing by using one of the options under the "File" menu.
  2. You can also open a HTC Audio Manager playlist by going to File=>HTC Audio Manager=>Search Playlists.
  3. You can add files into the playlist from Menu=>Add Media or using the buttons on the toolbar.
  4. You can add a media stream by entering the URL in "Add URL" dialog.
  5. You can use the context menu (tap & hold on single entry) or the arrows on the toolbar to move a selected track up/down the playlist.
  6. Alternatively, you can also drag & drop a selecteted entry to the position you desire.
  7. You can double click on a selected track to play it.
  8. Under Menu=>Tools, you can find several useful functions which will help you clean up the playlist.
  9. If you prefer to use softkeys rather than seeing the toolbar, you can switch the view mode using Menu=>Mode.
  10. Use "Save Playlist" or "Save Playlist As ..." if you wish to save the playlist as a ASX/M3U/PLS file.
  11. Go to "Save Playlist As ..." under File=>HTC Audio Manager if you use to save the playlist for HCT Audio Manager.
  12. If you wish to change the default application to handle ASX files, you can go to File=>Association and choose the EXE file to associate ASX files with.
  13. In the podcast management screen, you need to define the folder where the all the media files for the podcasts are kept.
  14. You can double click on a media file in the list to play it.
  15. Alternatively, you can click on "Play All" to play the playlist for the podcasts.
  16. The playlist for the podcasts is automatically updated every time the podcast management screen is launched.
  17. Alternatively, you can use "Create Shortcut" to create a shortcut for launching PlaylistMgr silently, updated the playlist for podcast and load it in the media player automatically.
Other Notes
  1. Unicode is not supported for M3U/PLS files.
  2. Please soft reset after saving playlist(s) for HTC Audio Manager to refresh the changes and/or new playlists.
  3. You also need to remove all playlists that were created using HTC Audio Manager if you start using PlaylistMgr to create the playlists.

OMG!!!...YO, THIS IS w/o A DOUBT THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO MOBILE MUSIC FILES(or "ANY" mobile files for that matter). IF YOU USE YOUR PHONE FOR "EVERYTHING" -ie- (dvd, mp3, captured vids) GET THIS NOW. IT MAKES IT SOOOO MUCH E-Zer TO REALLY ENJOY Win Media Player,

I am very grateful for your work to make this program. I just wanted to make a playlist for my windows mobile phone, and I could not easily see how to do it. It is the missing facility in Windows Mobile Media program!

It is working well so far.

OMG! I've update my HTC HD with new manila and it's doesn't see playlists that I make for HTC Audio Manager. Please update your wonderful program!

noted. i will need the help of a Touch HD user to send me a sample playlist that is created using Audio Manager, and also help me with some testing

I would like to use this program on my HTC Touch Pro 2. I have WM6.5 which looks like it is using the updated HTC Audio Manager that Alexx was having a problem with. If there's anything I can do to help you support the latest devices I'll help, I can't find out where the my HTC Audio Manager is storing its playlists at the moment...

Okay, got it working, apparently I needed to soft reset and wait a while for the new playlist to show up... Thanks for the great playlist editor.
